Some builds are quick. Some builds are wild. And then there are builds that completely ignore the rulebook.
The May collection from The Official MH 2026 Calendar features Garry’s absolute monster — a TVR wearing Garry’s own wider version of a fibreglass Mk1 Escort bubble-arched body.
At first glance your brain says Mk1 Escort, but underneath sits something completely different. Garry has created his own wider interpretation of the Escort shape, giving the car an aggressive stance while incorporating loads of his own carbon fibre parts throughout the build.
And if that wasn’t controversial enough, this is also one of those builds that seems to upset people from both sides of the fence. It raises eyebrows in the TVR world because it no longer looks like a traditional TVR, while some people in the Classic Ford world don’t quite know what to make of it either.
But that’s also what makes builds like this interesting.
Sometimes the best projects are the ones that completely ignore the rules and build something because they want to, not because they’re trying to please everyone.
Under the bonnet sits the part that takes things to another level…
