@trower83 had always wanted to build an ST170 Mk1 Fez and this one came up for sale with the conversion already done so he couldn't resist pulling the trigger. As well as the ST170 lump, this Fez came fitted with lowered suspension and Capri brakes and wheels, so its a very decent base for a project. The car seems to have been thrown together and there is some wiring which needs tidying etc but @trower83 restores cars for a living so its no problem for him, and the plan is to eventually respray the car in RS Focus white.
Currently the car has a 4 speed gearbox fitted, which is great for acceleration but its all over by 90 mph. The engine will be removed for the paint job and when it goes back in a 6 speed ST170 gearbox will be fitted.
This is set to be a super cool Fez once @trower83 has worked his magic. Hopefully he will keep us all updated with future progress. Thanks for sharing mate! 👍
