THANK YOU!!!! 👍

HAPPY WEDNESDAY PEOPLE!! 😃
I want to thank the HUUUGE number of people that have been in touch about the latest 'Heidi' video! I appreciate all your positivity and advice, and I want to send a special thanks to the multiple people that have offered to wave their welder at her tin worm for me.
I am fully aware that I have not tackled the project correctly. I have carried out stages of the build in completely the wrong order BUT it was the only way I could actually see the restoration through. I restored 'Esther' in a similar way (I even drove her round in primer for a bit before getting the exterior painted etc)
All that asside, it would have been more sensible to bare metal the exterior panels BEFORE painting the engine bay, inside the boot and the door shuts HOWEVER, I initially planned to just prep the previous owner's primer to paint the exterior.
All that aside, many people have asked why we didn't paint the whole shell BEFORE fitting the engine, interior etc etc, and there are 2 main reasons for this. Firstly, for my life to make any sense I MUST keep making videos. Imagine how many videos I would have NOT made up to now if I were still waiting until I was financially in a position to paint the whole car.
Also, the car is stored in a tiny garage with loads of tools and parts. Iv already accidentally dropped stuff on the bonnet etc since we painted the shuts etc. In fact, the bonnet makes a great table atm! 😃
It's no secret that I battle with mental health issues daily, and it just so happens that I'v been through a few dark days recently (check out my latest 'On Track' video). It's allowed my mind to blow things out of proportion (including 'Heidi's issues) But it has also meant I have been thinking A LOT about my current situation. I have had some crazy thoughts but also some more sensible thoughts about how to proceed with the cars, the channel, and my life in general.
I'm feeling a whole lot better this evening, and my current plan with 'Heidi' is to sort her new issues out at least semi-correctly (with some professional help). A sacrifice is probably going to have to be made to finish the build though. 👍
