Steven wanted to own an XR2 years ago and after a recent trip to the Pure Ford Show @ Castle Combe, he fell back in love with old skool Fords.
He admits that he would love an Escort Mexico but is put off by the silly prices they go for nowadays.
This white XR2 was up for sale quite local to where Steven lives and as you can see it is a beautiful example.
Steven plans to keep the car as standard as possible but he already has a few jobs he would like to do to improve it. The engine will soon be removed to deal with an annoying oil leak from the rear crank seal, and whilst the lump is out of the way, the bay will be getting a freshen up.
