This is Steve's 2nd moredoor Mk2, as he owned one in 1989 for his first car.
Steve is not messing around with this project, literally the day the car t arrived, he fitted round Golf headlights and a suitable grill. Then the very next day Steve ripped off the passenger side front wing and started diving into some minor rust repair on the A-pillar.
Steve is planning to use this car for track days and drift events, and with a Pinto lump in the bay running a set of twin 40 DCOE carbs, the necessary grunt is already there.
Steve has already enquired about a 3J LSD and he also plans to get the engine set up on the dyno very soon.
