The mk1 fiesta started life as a little red 950 Popular but now has a Mk5 Escort RS2000 lump mated to a 1.6 CVH gearbox. Shaun has fitted an MCR bodykit, had the car fully resprayed black and Im loving the brightly coloured livery! The car has more goodies including custom Recaro seats!
The Mk2 Escort is Shaun's daily car and has a 1300 Crossflow engine in the bay. He is thinking of fitting a Zetec engine and maybe an RX8 gearbox in the future. He has already fitted a rear window louvre, painted the front splitter black and fitted a rear spoiler, and Im loving how it looks with the super wide RS style alloy wheels.
The Mk2 Fiesta is destined to be Shaun's son's car once he passed his test.
I am VERY jealous of Shaun's red Mk3 Escort 3 door estate! He bought it with the original 1.1 Crossflow engine and 4 speed gearbox still fitted and it was supposed to be a quick flip. BUT within a matter of weeks the Shaun ripped the Crossflow out and fitted a 3.0 V6 lump from a Mondeo ST220!! The yellow wheels aren't staying, they are just on the car until the Comps are refurbinshed.
