Shannon has decided to fit a 2.3 litre Duratec engine and he is going to be making his own conversion parts including some custom engine mounts. As you can see he has carried out some modifications to the bulkhead to get the engine sitting further back in the bay for better weight distribution.
The plan is to either run the engine on R1 bike carbs OR a set of twin 48 Weber DCOEs which means Shannon will have plenty of power to play with.
