Swapping out the poly bushes on the rear leaf springs of 'Maude' my moredoor Mk2 Escort SHOULD have been a really simple job, especially seeing as the old bushes were also poly bushes, which are easier to remove than the original rubber type ones.
The job was a NIGHTMARE and I'v actually got to wait for some more parts to arrive before I can finish it! 🙁
The bad news for 'Maude' doesn't end there because she is now in SERIOUS need of some rust repair if she is going to last into the future, but there is always the option of re-shelling her with 'Heidi's' shell?? 🤔
In other news I went to see the guys at Inky's Autos to pick up 'Maude's' new welded diff, and I took my RC Mk1 Escort for its first proper spin! 😃
