Originally a 1.1 model, this Fez now has a 1600 crossflow engine in the bay. The lump has been treated to a set of 90 thou oversized 1300 pistons to raise the compression ratio, and a Kent Cams camshaft. The ignition is taken care of by a Basetech setup, and the lump is fuelled by a set of twin 40 Weber DCOE carburettors, and the gases escape through a custom exhaust manifold and system/ The power has been capped to around 105 bhp to keep the car nice and drivable on the road but in such a lightweight car I bet 'Betty' is loads of fun to drive and I'm sure she's capable of upsetting alot of more modern machinery out there!
Other modifications to this Fiesta include: adjustable coilover suspension on the front, Spax Performance Ltd lowered springs on the rear, a very tasty USA spec front grill, and a set of legendary 'pepper pot' alloys wheels!
