Jason mentioned to me recently that he was planning on purchasing something that he and his son could have fun with and this is just the ticket!
The engine in the bay is a 1.8 Zetec lump, running on a set of GSXR1000 motorbike throttle bodies. Theres a set of uprated cams to liven it up and it's all controlled by an ME221 ECU from my friends Motorsport Electronics Limited. Bolted onto the back of the Zetec is a 5 speed, straight cut type 9 gearbox and theres a cheeky L.S.D in the rear axle as well!
Im loving the blue and black colour combo, and with the wide 'minilite' alloys and the roll cage, this is already set up to be an ultimate track weapon.
