James Tilley (@_james_tilley_ on Instagram) has been in touch to show us all his super cool fleet of old skool Fords! 😃

James works in the motor trade and as a result is able to carry out all his own work. Despite being just 22 years old has amassed a mega collection!
The Mk1 Fiesta was his first classic car and it now looks amazing after a full restoration. The car was stripped right down, put on a roll over jig and painted inside and out before being rebuilt. The dark blue paint gives the car a sophisticated look, and the wider wheels and the US spec front grill finish the car off perfectly.
The Mk3 Escort needed quite a lot of welding before being resprayed in 'Coral Beige'. and I absolutely love all the aesthetic touches that James has added, including the 'BBS' alloys, the front lip, the clear front indicators and the colour coded Ford badges. The engine in the bay is a 2.0 Zetec lump running on twin 40 Weber carburettors, which means this Mk3 has plenty of go!
The Sierra was originally white, and after a bit of welding has now been transformed with a respray in 'Gun Metal Grey'. The red trim and badges compliment the paint very well and this car is also wearing some 'BBS' rims! The power plant is a trusty 2.0 Pinto lump, but this will be replaced with a turbocharged 2.0 Zetec at some point.
The 100E Ford Popular is yet to receive the James Tilley treatment, but its clear that whatever James decides to do with the car it is going to look special! Current plans include fitting a motorbike engine which will be a very interesting build, and hopefully James will keep us posted on progress in the future.
Thanks for sharing the fleet with us all James! 👍
