Its a 5 door Ghia model and Jake bought the car in October last year. He then bought another one a few months later to use for parts. The parts car now belongs to my friend Danny 'Inky' Inkpen, at Inky's Autos, who carried out quite a few jobs on Jake's car during its rebuild, but most of the work was done by Jake and his Dad Stephen.
As you can see Jake has made a few changes to the Mk3. The Series 1 RS Turbo alloys and XR3i front spot lights give the car a much more sporty look and I love the aggressive look of the RS1600i front lip!
Jake admits that he would like to get himself a 3 door Mk3 at some point in the future but his current Escort proves that a 5 door can look just as cool. Thanks for getting in touch Jake! 👍
