In my latest video 'Heidi' my hearing aid beige Mk2 Escort was treated to bodywork upgrades in her engine bay. I welded in a radiator cut-out panel, to make way for her big alloy radiator, and I welded in some strengthening gussets to brace the bottom of her bulkhead to the bottom of her inner wings. I then set about fabricating my own D.I.Y gussets for top of her bulkhead / inner wing area, which I failed to finish welding in because I ran out of gas! 🙁
In other news, I was sent an alternative rear wing by Ian, AND another diffuser by Brad.
Oh, and I re-visited the job I did recently on the large gearbox tunnel! 👍
