The Mk1 Escort is a 'sport' model which Haydon has turned into a 'Mexico' tribute. He has done most of the work himself, including all the mechanical work and the bodywork and painting. The only thing Haydon didn't do himself was the upholstery of the interior, which was left to the professionals.
The Mk2 Escort van was originally purchased to be a cheap daily but this has also now turned into a project! Currently the engine bay is occupied by a trust 2.0 Pinto engine and a 5 speed Type 9 gearbox from a Sierra.
Future plans include a 2.0 silver top Zetec lump, and the rear axle is going to be treated to an L.S.D and anti tramp bars.
