Gary Milward has been in touch with an update on his Sierra project! 😃
I mentioned in a past post that Gary saved this Sierra after it had sat neglected for 20 years!
The original 1.6 Pinto engine has been removed and Gary has given the engine bay a good clean. Look how good it looks now!!
The future plans for this car include a 2.0 Zetec or an ST170 lump, possibly with a turbo, but Gary has recently picked up a trusty 2.0 Pinto which will be fitted whilst he collects RWD Zetec parts.
The Pinto came with a Weber twinchoke DGAS carb and has a Camtec camshaft fitted with an unknown profile, and this temporary engine means the Sierra will on the road quicker than Gary first thought.
