Garry Bull @garrymk1escorttvr has already made awesome progress on creating an even crazier rear wing for ‘Heidi’ my hearing aid beige Mk2 Escort.
The wing that was kindly given to me by Ian, has been cleverly extended to a total width of 154cm, with some foam pieces added to each end. The whole thing was covered with a layer of fibreglass Matt to strengthen it all, and since then Garry has since spent endless hours filling, Sanding, shaping, epoxy primer-ing, more sanding, and it’s ALMOST ready to take a mould from.
Once the mould is made Garry will be able to make me (and anyone else that is interested) that wing in carbon fibre or fibreglass.
I’ve always said Garry was an absolute genius with fibreglass and carbon fibre. He can make pretty much anything if you have a part to mould from. He already has LOADS of moulds for old skool Fords and other cars too.
