Dan Friel has quite a few old skool Ford Escorts and recently got in touch with an update on his 1968 Mk1 Deluxe! 😃 
As you can see the car has recently been treated to a full respray inside, outside and underneath. The colour is 'Mazie Yellow' and it looks AMAZING! Dan is thinking of fitting a Zetec engine in the future but he already has a lairy 1700 Crossflow lump which will be going in first. A fully rebuilt Type 9 5 speed gearbox will be fitted and the power will be sent to the wheels via a 3J LSD in the rear axle. Dan is hoping to have the car on the road this summer but he is also currently building a new house and a garage which is obviously first priority. Thanks for the update Dan!
