Cian Wooley (@cianwooley on Instagram) and his Dad Phil have been very busy on their Mk2 Cortina lately! 😃

The car has been treated to many new parts including freshly rebuilt and repainted front legs. These now feature Gaz shock absorbers, 3 inch lowering springs, BBC 2 pot brake calipers, EBC disks and pads and even some cheeky Gaz stickers to finish them off!
The rear suspension has been given some attention too. The Gaz shocks were already fitted but the 2 inch lowering blocks have now been replaced with some 1.5 inch ones to prevent the arches rubbing on the tyres.
The 'Tina's wheels have now been repainted Anthracite grey which I think look amazing and the inner arches have been undersealed.
A small battle against the dreaded rust has begun by cutting out the drivers side inner wing top plate so that a new one can be welded in.
The radiator has been treated to a coat of matt black paint and the cooling system will be getting a fresh set of hoses and a new thermostat.
They guys have already purchased a set of twin 40 Weber DCOE carburettors for the car and are thinking about getting a lairy cylinder head built so maybe this Cortina will be getting a few extra horses under the bonnet soon!
This car is being well looked after by Cian and Phil and I cant wait to see it out and about int he summer!
Thanks for getting in touch! 👍
