When Charlie first bought this car he couldn't actually insure it so he put it in his garage and focused on making it structurally and mechanically sound. When the first Covid lockdown hit the UK he decided to remove the original CVH engine and fit a Zetec Lump, which should give him plenty of power for some skids in 'Mexico' 😃
As you can see the Zetec, which has been fitted with a trusty twin choke weber carburettor, is now sitting in the absolutely MINT engine bay, which amazingly is still wearing its original paint!
This Sierra has a very clever front brake and suspension setup which utilises Mk1 Focus adjustable coilovers, and Mk3 Mondeo calipers which make space for the 300mm brake discs.
Charlie is hoping to have the car back on the road in a few months so hopefully we'll be able to see it in action very soon!
