Ben Doherty has been in touch with some pics of his more door Mk2 Escort project! 😃
It's a 1600 Ghia model and as you can see Ben has recently been working on deleting some rust from the driver's side rear inner and outer wheel arch.
Ben has removed the original 1600 Crossflow lump from the bay and has decided to go down the ST170 route. He managed to purchase a full donor car with just 80k miles on the clock. The ST lump has been removed from the Focus and stripped and Ben has already painted the block. The cylinder head is going to be sent away to be polished and ported, which should unleash a few extra ponies.
