I recently went to see the guys at Inkys Autos to get ANOTHER diff welded up for 'Maude' my moredoor Mk2 Escort, and as usual there was plenty of classic Fords down there getting some love. I got a first look at Tony's beautiful Mk1 Fiesta, and Deans beige moredoor M2 Escort got it's Crossflow lump installed too. 👍
After keeping 'Maude's new NSD in the freezer to keep it fresh (don't tell Cat) it was time to get it into the diff casing and set it all up. With absolutely no diff rebuilding experience it was always going to be eeerm? 'fun' but I THINK I'v done ok??? Will it last longer than the next half shaft to snap??? Time will tell.
I also took cars of a couple of jobs on 'Maude' that I wanted to do in the last 2 videos.
