'Esther' my ST170 powered Mk1 Escort is in a right state at the moment! 🙁 and I recently made things even worse by waving my angle grinder at her.
The plan is to enlarge her gearbox tunnel to make removing and refitting her 6 speed Mazda RX8 box easier in future. After I cut 2 big holes in her tunnel I then really struggled to make some plates to fill the voids! 🙁
Whilst I was feeling destructive I also removed her battery tray which is obsolete since I fitted the lightweight battery and its bracket.

I now have just over a week to get the welding, painting, and reassembly done on 'Esther' to get her to The Ford Show @ Santa Pod on 16th July! Will I make it????
