There seems to be a problem regarding the club stand passes for this weekends The Ford Show @ Santa Pod.
I have been sending out passes to people that have contacted me with their addresses, BUT I now have NONE LEFT, and there are still people sending me their addresses.
This clearly means that some people DID NOT book the correct 'Club' tickets with my code when they booked on the Santa Pod website. They just told me they did, and instead purchased normal tickets. Santa Pod have sent me the correct number based on the number of people that actually booked Club tickets with my code, AND they sent me 2 extra passes (because I forgot to book my own club tickets! 🤦♂️) But I still dont have enough passes. I just took people's word for it when they said they'd booked club tickets, rather than asking Santa Pod for actual names of people that booked the correct tickets.
So the position Im in now is that all I can do is send out photocopies of the stand passes, and you'll just have to hope this is enough to get past the staff at the show.
I'm honestly considering not bothering to go to the show myself anyway.
Both of my cars are in bits, and I barely get any time to work on them, so maybe I'll use this Sunday for some spanner time instead.
