THROWBACK THURSDAY!! 😃
It's time to look back at a time when I regularly attended underground car meets in 'Maude' my moredoor Mk2 Escort! Some of the best meets we went to were organised by the Ghetto Street Meet crew. Their events attracted BIG numbers, and they were quite well marshalled for underground meets. They even cordoned off a dedicated area (dubbed the 'send it square') so that idiots like me could pretend that we actually knew how to drift! 🤪

I like to think my skills have improved since then (mainly due to getting seat time at actual legal drift days) but the atmosphere at the underground meets was undeniably EPIC!
Maybe I'll be able to have some similar fun in 'Heidi' my hearing aide beige Mk2, once she is built??? 🤔
