Chris Kember @ @Clumpfab has been in touch with another update on my latest more-door Mk2 Escort project! 😃
The RS strengthening plates have now been welded onto the inner wings, on the strut top area and where the wing rail meets the strut top cup. The drivers side strut top one had the chassis number stamped into it by Escort-Tec before they sent it to me.
The brand new wings (also supplied by Escort-Tec) have also now been fitted and Chris has made them bolt on for me.
Aaaand one of the previous welding jobs on the floor inside the cockpit has been cut out and replaced with a way better quality Clumfab spec patch!! 😃
Chris @ Clumpfab is flying through the welding on this car and I couldn't be happier with the results! She'll soon be back at home with me and ready for the next stage of the build! 👍
