GOOD EVENING PEOPLE!! 😃
Last Saturday I went to the Epsom Derby and it was my first ever time at a horse racing event. I didn't actually see any horse racing and I didn't place any bets because I spent the day with the West London Classic Ford crew. They had been invited to display their cars (along with some other car groups) at the event.
Unfortunately 'Maude' my moredoor Mk2 Escort AND 'Esther' my ST170 powered Mk1 Escort were both out of action BUT that gave me an opportunity to get a passenger ride with Jay in his ST170 powered Mk3 Capri.
The Capri decided to chuck fuel all over the road just outside Epsom Downs but Jay soon fixed that, and we made it to the event. There were loads of really cool rides to check out and we all jumped on the dodgems in the fun fair area.
