Donut Motorsport sent me some of there new short steering arms for 'Maude' my moredoor Mk2 Escort and in my latest video I fitted them and gave 'Maude' a DIY wheel alignment, before taking her to 'Mexico' to test out the new parts! 👍
The shorter steering arms quicken the steering (like a quick rack) but they also give more steering lock, so you basically get 2 modifications in one.

Hello, I watched and liked many of your vids over the years – so cheers for that. I need a set of custom steerting arms for my Anglia, to increase ratio and reduce ackerman. I wasn’t sure of your relationship with Donut but I thought I’d mail you first. How could I go about getting a pair made? I know the details of the change i. e. Where the tie rod taper needs to move to, but as a safety critical component I presume these things not onlt need to be manufactured but undergo some engineering analysis to prove they won’t fail in use.
Anyway… If you have any thoughts or may be able to help, please let me know.
