In my latest video I continued my quest to turn 'Heidi' my hearing aide beige Mk2 Escort into the ultimate drift toy/ daily driver.
I decided to make her slam panel removable, to make engine removal and refitting easier in the future.
It was a bit of a mission to carefully remove the slam panel, which then uncovered some rust to deal with. I then had to repair the slam panel, and weld some captive nuts into the car.
The poor weather slowed the job down quite a bit, but this was a very satisfying job to complete.
