It's fair to say that LOADS of people that watch my videos would prefer if I REMOVED the silly rear wing that is currently mounted to the boot lid of 'Heidi' my hearing aid beige Mk2 Escort.
A while ago I did indeed decided to remove the wing! . . . . . . . . . to fit an EVEN BIGGER one! 🤪
My good friend Garry Bull has been busy creating 'Heidi's new wing in between his endless other jobs, and it's now almost finished!! 👍
Garry originally extended a wing that was given to me by Ian, and then took a mould from it. Now a new wing has been produced in fibreglass and Garry has created some really cool carbon fibre end plates.
The fibreglass centre piece will eventually be painted satin black, to match 'Heidi's other satin black exterior parts.
Garry is extremely talented when it comes to fibreglass and carbon fibre parts, and can literally make ANYTHING if you have a part to mould from. Check out the Camaro front end he made recently for a drag car! (pics 5 & 6)
