It’s still very early days, and so far I’ve only attended one of the sessions put on by the event organisers. It was very much a back-to-basics session, which was actually perfect. After more than two years of BoxFit (which isn’t really about having a fight), I’ve definitely picked up a few bad habits — so it’s good to strip things back and build properly.
The plan is:
🥊 2 sessions a week with the white collar organisers (16 sessions total before fight night)
🥊 2 sessions a week at West Herts ABC as part of my normal routine
And this week I’m aiming for THREE sessions at WHABC… which means 5 days of boxing training in a row! 💪😅
It’s definitely hectic fitting everything in around the day job, my other training, social media and life in general — but if I stay focused and stop wasting time, I know I’ll handle it.
I’ve still been sneaking in a bit of car stuff too 👀 and I’m hoping to have a ‘Heidi’ update on YouTube in the next week or two! 🤞
