Last night me and my beautiful girlfriend Cat made the last minute decision to jump in 'Esther' the ST170 powered Mk1 Escort and head out to the A10 meet! @a10_meets 👍
I wasn't filming for YouTube but It was an AWESOME evening, AND I got to give Esther's new LSD a test in the doughnut area (on private land in 'Mexico' of course! 🇲🇽)
As usual with the A10 meets there were a wide array of cars on display including 2 super cool Vauxhall Vivas.
The blue one was owned by electrical engineer David @sapphire.1970 , and has a modified 'slant 4' engine in the bay (as fitted to Chevette HSRs) which produces 200 hp an d 200 ft/lb! 😃
The white one (dubbed 'Floyd' @floyd.1968 ) is owned by David's son Jon-Paul @jonpaullennard who is a mechanical engineer. He has custom built an awesome turbo setup for Floyd's 4 cylinder 1300 lump which makes all the right noises! 😃
I also bumped into @ballistic350 who I first met at Santa Pod last month. He had a little play in the doughnut area too in his twin turbo 350Z! 😃
