Motorsport Electronics Limited have been instrumental to both of my Escorts when it comes to engine management. 'Maude' my more-door Mk2 Escort currently has their Nodiz Pro ignition only ECU, and I have already purchased an ME100 ECU for her next engine setup. Whilst 'Esther' my fuel injected, ST170 powered Mk1 Escort, has their ME221 ECU. They also have the ME442 ECU for more complex setups.
