I try not to focus too much on analytics and that sort of thing BUT last night my YouTube channel reached the milestone of 1 MILLION views!!! 😃
This is absolutely UNREAL and I am over the moon!!
When I made my first video 2 and a half years ago, at a drift day @ Santa Pod I didn't even think I would actually upload it. I just thought that it would be something cool I would keep for myself to watch later in life to remind me of the fun I had at the event. As it turned out I really enjoyed the process of making the video so much so that I then decided to film pretty much everything I do in my weird car obsessed life and share it with the world. As time went on I received more and more positivity from viewers of my content, people started offering to send me parts, and then people even started offering to send me money to thank me for my content. It was at this point that I decided to start making stickers so that I could at least give something back in return for everybody's generosity. Nowadays YouTube dominates my life and I love it!! Every single break time at work I am either editing videos or chatting to followers through the internet, and every evening is taken up in some way by YouTube related tasks. I'm now in the fortunate position where LOADS of people want me to make videos about their cars, which is AMAZING and means I can bring more varied content to the channel. For those that are interested my future dream is to make enough money from advertising revenue and merchandise sales to be able to afford to rent a proper workshop with electricity. This will mean I will be able to make better AND more frequent videos to bring even more content to the channel for you guys to watch. I have been approached by many companies for sponsorships etc but I wont work with just anyone, I'd rather miss out on the revenue and stay true to myself, even if it means my dreams take longer to achieve. I am currently not taking a penny of the money the channel has earned, and I am abiding by all the tax rules etc so that I can 100% avoid any negativity coming to the channel.
